The UN has been forced to buy a tanker in order to start the process of preventing a major oilspill, because no-one would lease, loan, or donate one. Capitalism doing what it does best.
Despite his freelance status, it was announced that the former England striker would be “spoken to” about his duty to be impartial, although the identity of who would be doing the talking was unclear. The BBC chairman Richard Sharp, who is so famously politically neutral he has donated over £400,000 to the Conservative party? No cost of living crisis for the Saudi royal family. Maybe because the cost of living crisis is really a cost of profits crisis!
This article made me laugh to many times just to quote a funny bit.
A very moving article by someone very close to the Rioting Times.
This is a very sad story masquerading as a human interest happy story. This chap is not being allowed to do the one thing that he enjoys best, which harms no-one, by his care team. It can’t be dangerous, or the BBC wouldn’t be allowed to do it with him. So it must be because it is inconvenient for his care team. Having worked in supported housing I can see how this might happen, but its not acceptable. Having no-one to advocate for him, he is denied his only pleasure in life for no good reason. This is authoritarian care and needs to be destroyed! FREE THE WAVING MAN!
